The best for me

My repertoire of afghan patterns and stitches is not great. Recently I've made ripples, grannies, treble cross lengthwise, and corner to corner. After trying the stained glass pattern recently, I've decided that, for me, the best pattern right now is the corner-to-corner: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/jruss95/corner-to-corner-afghan-6

A close second would be the small sized rectangular granny: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/jruss95/granny-blanket-6

These patterns have
  • few ends to stitch in,
  • don't have to be pieced,
  • can be made with or without a border,
  • don't require complicated counting,
  • are endlessly variable, even while in progress,
  • don't require blocking, and
  • look nice when finished.

What else could I want?

Been wondering about a Blog

The opportunity to sign up for a blog presented itself automatically this morning while I was posting a comment. I will post from time to time about Trinity Lutheran's YarnWork adventures.
