The best for me

My repertoire of afghan patterns and stitches is not great. Recently I've made ripples, grannies, treble cross lengthwise, and corner to corner. After trying the stained glass pattern recently, I've decided that, for me, the best pattern right now is the corner-to-corner: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/jruss95/corner-to-corner-afghan-6

A close second would be the small sized rectangular granny: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/jruss95/granny-blanket-6

These patterns have
  • few ends to stitch in,
  • don't have to be pieced,
  • can be made with or without a border,
  • don't require complicated counting,
  • are endlessly variable, even while in progress,
  • don't require blocking, and
  • look nice when finished.

What else could I want?

  2. Hi Judy ~

Congratulations on starting a crochet blog!

There are so many things you can do with it; I'm sure it will advance your yarn ministry.

Blessings on you and on the people who receive your blankets,

    Linda
